With the help of ultraviolet light in the range of 200nm to 400nm, applications can be found in forensics, surface analysis, differentiation of materials, changes in human skin, and many more.

EHD SCM series camera

EHD SCM178-UV-TR

The SCM178-UV-TR including the IMX178M 1/1.8″ rolling shutter sensor with a resolution of 3072×2048 pixel and a framerate of 60fps at full resolution over USB3.0 interface. The camera is sensitive down to 320nm, and has trigger input/out functions and 2 GPIO’s.

SCA9701-UV-TR 1.3MP sCMOS

The SCM9701-UV-TR camera includes the GSENSE GLUX9701BSI (backilluminated), 1″ sCMOS sensor with 1208×1024 pixel, which are 9.76×9.76µ in size. The max framerate at full resolution is 30fps. The SCM9701-UV is high sensitive with a very low noise of <2e-. The max exposure time is up to 60s. Conversation gain selectable between LCG, HCG, HDR. Selectable 8bit/16bit output. New is the external trigger I/O function.

The camera is sensitive in the 200-1100nm range and can therefore be used in the infrared range as well as the ultraviolet. Due to its high light sensitivity, the SCA9701-UV-TR is also very well suited as a low-light camera.

The camera comes complete with our EHDView software, an SDK and USB3.0 cable. Also available is a EHDView lite for MAC OS and Linux systems.
